What’s the first thing you will think of when you are in Klang? Yea, that’s right! It’s that sizzling hot bowl of pork meat cooked in a pot of herbal soup that is enough to stimulate your five senses-Bah Kut Teh. The Klang Bah Kut Teh Carnival was held over the weekend from 22-23 November 2008 at Kwang Hua Private School which is aimed to promote the history and culture of Bah Kut Teh as well as to accredit Klang as a unique tourism landmark. Those who attended it are able to taste the various type of BKT and there is also a few exhibition on its history, tea and so on.
Unfortunately, during the launching on Saturday night, the lights went off due to the overloading of electricity. As a result, all of us are eating Bah Kut Teh in the dark! Wow! That’s was my first experience in life. Oh yea, I tasted 3 types of uniquely different Bah Kut Teh, each with its own distinct flavour. Fantastic!!
After we ate finish, the candle finally arrives.
When the lights are back with us, it’s time to unveil the world’s largest Bah Kut Teh.. It’s huge man!!
And, how can this significant event end without some lion dance?
addicted to Bah Kut Teh lately, bL!nk$t@R.
